This 6-day cycling tour explores the best of southern Morocco, from the palm oasis of Skoura to the Valley of Roses, the Dades Gorges, the Saghrou mountains, and the peaceful Draa Valley. The route mixes dirt tracks, gravel roads, and quiet off-road trails, offering moderate to challenging riding. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional Berber villages, ancient kasbahs, and stunning mountain landscapes ending your loop back in Ouarzazate.

Your cycling adventure begins in Ouarzazate. Today is a warm-up stage with easy riding on MTB and dirt paths. Pedal through quiet Berber villages, open fields, and beautiful palm groves. Stop to visit Kasbah Amridil, one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco.
Ride deeper into the Valley of Roses, following valley tracks and hillside trails. This area is known for its rose fields, traditional farming, and friendly Berber communities. You can visit small rose cooperatives and learn how rose water and essential oils are made
Cycle toward the impressive Dades Valley. Follow quiet dirt roads through small villages, hidden ksours, and old kasbahs. As you ride, the scenery becomes more dramatic with high cliffs and colourful rock formations.
One of the highlights of the trip. Ride through the Dades Gorges and begin the big climb to Tizi n’Tazazert Pass (≈2,300 m). The ascent is challenging but rewarding, with incredible views of the Saghrou mountains. After the pass, enjoy a long, thrilling descent toward Nkoub.
Enjoy a relaxing ride along the peaceful Draa Valley, mostly downhill on dirt and gravel tracks. Cycle past wide palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and small villages. You can stop for photos or visit a local Kasbah if timing allows.
Your final day takes you through gentle hills and valley tracks back toward Ouarzazate. You may stop at the historic Kasbah Tamnougalt before continuing the last section of your loop. A great moment to celebrate your adventure in southern Morocco.
