This 6-day cycling trip starts and ends in Ouarzazate and takes you through the Draa Valley, small Berber villages, and beautiful desert landscapes. You ride on gravel roads and dirt tracks all the way to the Sahara, reaching the impressive Erg Chgaga dunes where you spend a night in a desert camp.
The route continues across quiet desert plains and oases before reaching Foum Zguid. On the final day, you head back through the valley to Ouarzazate. This tour offers a great mix of culture, adventure, and desert scenery perfect for riders who love off-road exploration.

Start your ride from Ouarzazate and follow quiet dirt and gravel tracks through small Berber villages and the green Draa Valley. Visit Kasbah Tamnougalt before reaching Agdz for the night.
Ride along valley tracks and desert paths. You’ll pass palm groves, small villages, and sandy single-track trails. Enjoy the views and stop at local markets to meet people and try traditional snacks.
Cycle deeper into desert scenery on gravel and sandy tracks. Ride beside the Draa Valley, old kasbahs, and remote villages. The route becomes flatter as you approach Zagora, known as the gateway to the Sahara.
This is your big desert adventure day! Follow sand tracks toward the impressive Erg Chgaga dunes. Cross dry riverbeds, oases, and open desert landscapes. Some sandy parts require careful riding. Enjoy an amazing sunset at the dunes.
Leave the dunes behind and ride on desert and gravel trails to Foum Zguid. The morning is quiet and peaceful, passing small oases and palm areas. This is a more relaxing day with easier terrain.
Finish your adventure by cycling back to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley. Ride through palm groves, villages, and rolling hills. Stop again at Kasbah Tamnougalt or local markets if you wish. Celebrate the end of your desert journey!
